Privacy Policy

Who are we?

Our website address is: https://www.francelipoedeme.org.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, your rights, and how we protect your information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Collected and How It Is Used

Comments

When visitors leave a comment on the site, we collect the data entered in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (known as a “hash”) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here:
https://automattic.com/privacy/

Once your comment has been approved, your profile photo may be publicly visible alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (GPS EXIF data). Site visitors can download and extract this data.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies are for your convenience and will save you the trouble of having to re-enter your information the next time you leave a comment. These cookies expire after one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen display preference cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data; it simply indicates the ID of the edited post. It expires after 1 day.

Content embedded from other sites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other site.

These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, incorporate additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with this embedded content, including if you have an account on that other site.

Who do we share your data with?

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to provide the requested service (for example, for website hosting or maintenance).

How long do we retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (if applicable), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

If you have an account on this site, or if you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service.
